Was just about perfect yesterday, took the two when on offer, Miller kicking to touch in second half was great, We even managed to set up a drop goal play. Only fault in my opinion was not setting up a drop goal attempt at the very end of the first half. Other than that yesterday was a massive improvement re game management, top effort from the boys.

Yep, I think we're nearly there on that front. There were a couple of times we were struggling to get out of our own half and it looked like a 40/20 would have been a good option as McGillvary hadn't dropped back, and a couple of missed chances for Drop Goals. But Finn has found his kicking boot again by nailing some great touchline kicks in tough conditions and Miller put in some lovely kicks to gain position

It was good to see us take full advantage of a free play for once. Quick thinking together with quick feet.

Game management was first class yesterday. I was still a little nervy with a 12 point lead but we did all the simple things correctly and looked for DG to finish the game off.

How important was that chase back tackle with 10 to go??? How nervy would 16 -10 have been? I couldn't see through the fog but have seen suggestion of both Kirmond and Tupou being the saviour. Trinity TV will once again prove it's worth.
