What is it that we lack; that missing X factor, the last piece in the jigsaw that prevents us from becoming the top four side we know that we can be? Countless different coaches, players and chairmen for forty years now,but we still have been unable to just leap that final hurdle. Somebody please explain.

Maybe it's too many times in that 40 years chasing games.
Once we learn how to control the game and have belief that we can sit on a lead and wait for the other team to make the mistake.

Top class halves. Finn is good but getting on, Miller is inconsistent, Hampshire is only just starting.

Game management isn't good enough for top 4, the only way we'll get that is by having consistency in coaching and playing staff. Once we've got a bulk of the team and staff beyond 100 games together then we'll start to see a difference.

I rate miller as one of the best stand offs in the league

For me it's an X factor scrum half
Some one that can drop a goal under pressure in the last seconds like sneyd did today, like we could have against hull last season

I'm just gonna keep supporting the boys because I'm dam proud of them and carter
And
I also believe things will come good for us

There was very little in the last couple of losses keep the faith

Miller has grown on me since he first arrived but I wouldn't say he's one of the best in the league. Quite often he's anonymous in a game, other than dropping a hospital ball on Ashurst.

On his day he can very good, but his greatest asset is his running game and he just doesn't take the line on enough for me. When he does the opposing forwards really struggled to nail him.

The halves are ok and as a club on a tight budget probably the best we are likely to have, but to take that next step on they do need to be better. That half could be the difference.
