Dont know if there is and truth in this but there was a story going around on Facebook last night that he wants to return to super league.

Given the likely Salary he would be on and the baggage he carries, it would be a no form me.

Even if we were in the market, i can only think we would be looking for a younger organising half back. I wouldnt see him as this anyway.

Excellent talent but not the sort of character we need plus his huge wages makes it a no from me.

Think this rumour came from posts on a fake social media account.

Absolute waster wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

I was speaking in a general manner regarding professional rugby league teams rather than us. £230k a year at Warrington and still left a trail of debt in his wake after 12months, some of it none too pleasant. Some would call him a toxic presence.

Not sure if you're on Instagram Vasty but looking at his account (where I believe the rumours have come from) he seems desperate. Tagging numerous clubs, fan pages and replying to fans individually which I don't see many players do.

I'd expect him to take whatever is on offer for him.
