Just read a piece on Facebook from rugby league journalist Gary Carter, that MCB has been linked with a move back to Salford.

Shame this as I think, when given his chance, has done well for us.

Can't really blame him though, as the lad needs regular game time

Would he not join the club and land in a very similar position?

He is however still very very good friends with Greg Johnson and from his instagram page lives over towards Manchester still.

Evalds is their fullback and Vatuvei is out for the season then returning home. He is better than both Johnson & Olpherts and would get in ahead of them anyway.

He’s been unfortunate here. His performances warrant a starting spot but so do the people ahead of him. Think he needs the regular rugby.

I like MCB but I think Johnsons form over the last few seasons shows him to be the better all round winger, different style of play but Johnson causes the defense problems every time he has the ball.

He would walk straight into their side on the other wing though.

MC seems to be challenging the idea he is going anywhere on social media.

To be honest I thought he was coming in as a centre when he arrived and he has struggled in that role when used. He's not getting a starting berth ahead of Johnstone or BJB on the wing for me. He did well offensively covering TJ but suspect defending high ball to the corner and too many wingers went right over the top of him scoring.

Looks like lazy journalism, Gary Carter reported that Toronto decided not to go for MCB therefore Salford can. There's currently a twitter discussion with MC giving said lazy journo a bit of a roasting.

I particularly enjoyed G.Carter's response, starting with "Here's how it works..." - lecturing the actual SL Club Chairman on how player transactions are conducted. Lovely stuff.
