The Trinity legend has sadly passed away. One of the greatest to pull on the red, white & blue during our most successful era and an all round great bloke. My condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P. Harold.

A sad, sad day. One of my biggest childhood heroes and a lovely, lovely man. Deepest condolences to Kath and family. Truly one of the all-time rugby league greats. RIP HAROLD. You'll be sorely missed

One of the greatest. Was my favourite player when I started watching tinity. A Liam Finn look alike but with pace. Always continued to support us and attend Belle Vue regularly. Suspected he might be I'll when he was not interviewed for the recent Waters plash final documentary Condolences to his family. His name will always be synonymous with Trinity.

Not many left now, that golden era is fast fading from living memory and I see no signs of this lot turning it around. RIP.

He had a newsagents on Heeley Road Kettlethorpe for many years, Vasty then took one on Dewsbury Road next to the old dairy.,
