Catalan forwards 2nd half worked on Huby, rubbing the ball in his face & doing facials across his face, all for him to
Over react. Peanaties, 2no went against him & we started to lose continuity. Their tactics started to work as they
gained momentum and got two tries.When we did get the ball we fell into one up rugby away from us shifting the ball as in the first half.
We got a penalty & planted the ball into touch south stand. Taking the tap we passed to Huby, two players came
In as he took the ball in, fully in the upright stance, the guy on his left held him, the guy on his right No 12
Swung high & connected with Huby's head which he reacted to with one arm pushed out onto No 12 but not a punch, Simon ran in & struck/punched Huby. Miller ran in on Simon remonstrating & Simon punched miller.
Unusually Miller repeated several punches, sticking up for himself, then all hell was running.
The idiot ref should have took early action on the head high connection which was the deliberate cause of the
Fighting.
The idiot ref let the Catalan players continue to miss behave thus the game degenerated.
However, some people think this aspect is great, I personally prefer running rugby.
As a further note, the recent change in super league structure deems all yes all super league clubs have to promote
The game better to gain more spectators and exciting rugby to view for gaining new fans.
Where the he'll is Catalan coming from with their brand of idiotic petulant behaviour & tactics ?
It's easy to say French are french, but that's to excuse the nonsense !
But they are not going to change unless warned about cleaning up their act & promote good rugby even if you are losing or lost the game.
The great game of rugby league should always be the winner.

I am not so sure that is too accurate. The ball came out and Simon was in he act of picking it up, nowhere near Huby, when Miller rushed in. Watched replay a few times.

The 1st time I saw it I thought Milky had just charged in randomly at Simon and I thought that's "brave".
But then I noticed he actually had the ball, so a fair challenge.
Simon starts throwing punches. Milky responds but misses.

Our 1st set in the 2nd half immediately showed that the guys had been instructed to change tactics and drive the ball in more. Shame, as it played right into the hands of the opposition and probably stopped us running a hat full in.

It started with Chubbs yellow, him and Simon had been exchanging points of view, there'd been a bit of niggle and the ref spoke to them during a break in play.
Next set up Chubbs and Simon came together, dunno who did what to who but it kicked off and Chubbs got 10.
Fast forward to Chubbs return, he takes it in and Simon goes in over the top of his own player just to get at Chubbs head, so intentional head high tackle.
The rest is Simon punching Miller and Miller swinging and missing.
Its a shame really, Chubbs and Simon are not really known for niggle tbf, I'm guessing Simon is following new instructions related to the change in the Catalans playing "style" since early season.

I thought it started when we began giving easy ball to Catalans for a lengthy period. Batchelor lost the ball, then Crowther, then Randell got penalised for pushing someone over. We never really got out of our 20 for about 20 minutes.

Well it did, the trigger for that sequence of easy ball was Chubbs pushing Kenny Edwards after the tackle while we were in possession turning the ball over to them, don't think it was even a penalty but 5h1t happens, anyway it was expensive and paved the way for what happened further down field.

This was on Cats 45yd line and it was Chubbs, something happened with Horo a yard out from ours later on in the middle of all that penalty milking and niggly crap, didn't see Randell do anything much.
