He shouldn’t be learning his trade, 40+ super league games in; he should be well further down the line than he currently is.

I’ll say it again, nobody is yet to come back with an real reason of to why Jowitt has proved himself and should be the next first choice fullback at our club.

One defeat that was pretty much on the cards due mainly to injury and the panic and finger pointing begins - some of you are truly pathetic.

Shaul is still not the finished article now, most FC fans would laugh at you if you suggested he was.

Johnstone - There is not as much to a wingers game as there is a Fullbacks, so that is pretty irrelevant to this discussion. Also I still think there is some improvement in Tom so he is not the finished article yet.

And Hardarker gradually got a lot better at Leeds in the Fullback position. Don`t forget he spent a lot of his time at centre when he first joined Leeds. He also got better under Powell at Cas so no I don`t think he was a finished article at 21 either.

"Dropping instantly" as a criticism of a modern back, demonstrates a total lack of understanding of the game; in an era when a quick ptb is almost impossible to achieve, it's a common tactic to drop quickly in an attempt to either a) play it quickly or b) obtain a penalty if you're being prevented from doing so.

This scapegoating of Max Jowitt is genuinely pathetic - I would love to see some of the knee-jerk panic-mongers stand under a high ball with 40 stone of prop forwards bearing down on them, or put their body in front of Liam Watts charging at full steam; their attempts would make Richie Mathers escapology look positively Herculean.

Can someone clarify - is WakeyTrin1873 the latest iteration of that pillock I had blocked? I ask only so I can do the same to the new version. Ta
