From what I’ve heard of Liverpool it’s a good day out. Probably better than Newcastle thigh I do like the place.

However I’d hardly call Liverpool a development area which was the original purpose of the event - just a money spinner now - that’s not a bad thing but it is a bit of a shame.

Anfield is not the best place to watch two days of RL, if it must move please not there. It's not really introducing the game to a new audience either.

As a bloke who enjoys a day out, Newcastle, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester all cities that have held the MW are all head and shoulders above Liverpool, only my opinion of course.

The rumour surrounding the move to Liverpool seems to have come from the `Journalist`, if you can even call him that, Gary Carter who just seems to make things up as he goes along. Newcastle would suit me again this year however I would not mind the Etihad either.

Now you're talking, not sure of the logistics of getting 35,000 extra people over on a Thursday, Friday would be like though.

Aye and the cost of decent accommodation near enough to a central location I find is already extortionate without them over inflating pricing due to high demand, never mind the price of Ale 8)

Just speaking for all the tight folk on here

I'm not as well travelled as your good self so I'll take your word on it.

Also scousers are one of my many many many dislikes so it's not a place I'd choose.

Would anyone like to see it in gods country? YORKSHIRE!!

Elland Road - Capacity 37,890 (according to Wiki)

I do appreciate it's played at a neutral ground however only three times have we surpassed the 37k mark, imagine a fully packed stadium watching these games rather than seeing 31k (average) sat in a stadium that holds 50k+?
