A post was placed on this forum " do players cheat " the replies were correct but, if you have watched the Catalan v Huddersfield game, Murphy won an Oscar for playing the ball & throwing himself backwards in order to gain a penalty. He never did this in his Wakefield days, their coach must condone this as there has been no reaction to this behaviour.
Quite simply, where is rugby league going as a sport And more importantly a spectator sport viewed by non rugby followers & neutral new spectators. This behaviour is reaching new levels !

Not really, watch the video on face book, Phil Clarke & co gave Murphy 10 out of 10 !

I'm not so sure. He was pushed, and in trying to steady himself I think he might have tripped on the ball or become unsure of his footing. If you're unbalanced and going backwards, that's how you respond.

One thing I think we'll see an increase in is the increased presence of the doctor on the pitch when a defending player goes down, as the game has to be halted. Both last night (or maybe Thursday) and today there were instances of the doctor being on when there was no head injury but seemingly more of a strain of some description, which is physio stuff. The doctor will take over the physio role to halt the game.

It was pathetic and worthy of 10.0 and as good as any back somersault Tom Daley could perform. Apart from the acne he's changed a hell of a lot since his Trinity days.
