With the terrible news that Johnstone is out for the season, is Inu worth a look on a deal till the end of the season?

It would give us cover whilst giving him the opportunity to earn either a new deal with us or elsewhere.

Not sure if he would count on the quota?

I though the same thing! Think i read smoewhere he does not count on quota because of the way he left widnes it happened with us a few seasons ago when we could'nt pay wages, he's well worth a punt.

Interesting idea
Losing tom for the season is a massive blow and leaves us light in the backs

Bill goes to the wing and and arundle to the centre

They have being a good partnership in the past and I believe they will be now

Do we need some one else though? We defo need some more back cover but is it back up we need or a starting player?

I'm not sure that he fits our normal type of player on the face of it

I do however think he has something to prove and I can vouch that in his NRL days he was a quality player and has a great deal of experience too that would be useful

Could Inu do a job for us?
Yes I believe he could

I said the same player to my lad earlier, but not 100% sure about him.

One other player I did mention, and wasnt in the Catalans team today, was Jodie Broughton. Have a feeling though he was injured at the start of the season.

One thing I would agree with, we do now look very stretched in the three quarters, maybe just until the end of the season, but for the right player, theres nothing wrong in having competition long term.

Think it was said that Jodie was facing a long lay-off.

Give the next youth a few games whilst we ponder a move but not this lad.

I do think we need to plug a gap but it would be great if we can do it from within.
I don't know them well enough to call but we have backs in our squad that don't currently play.
If we gave them a squad number we should only have done it if we think they can play. Let's find out.
