Slightly off on a tangent, anybody else notice that PP is no longer wearing the strapping. After an injury dominated few weeks that has to be a positive. :D

Indeed.
May be wrong but, last week was the first time that his full leg was on show.

I think Shenton is a quality centre and Eden is pretty damn quick, certainly a match for Lyne & Bishop.
Having said that, Arundel, with MCB outside him look a little better than the other side.

It's a huge ask to expect too much though with a new, 1, 6 & 7 playing together for the first time.
You would expect some of the timings to be out.
With our pack playing so well, we should go for a tight, simple game plan and try and batter them into submission.

If we try and play too open, we will very likely come unstuck.

Hopefully Rocky will still be familiar with the pitch over there and have a cracker.##Come on Trin !

Although we are having a hard time with injuries Cas are not too far behind us in that respect, quality wise tonight I don’t think we are too far apart so hoping for a good game. Reynolds been playing very well at Fev, looking forward to seeing what he can do and can’t be much worse than his opposite number tonight in Aston who looks very ordinary at championship level.

Will Leeds make their home match against Huddersfield or away to Wakefield a priority? That is, IF they have a priority. I can't quite see them playing their second team on Friday to preserve the players for Monday!

I doubt that it will make much difference, but Leeds have an even smaller turn round time between matches than Wakefield do. I've seen in the past what disaster my football team have suffered when more concern is given to one match rather than another.

I'm hoping for two victories each this weekend for Wakefield & Queens Park Rangers. Certainly going into Monday with that still a possibility would be great!

Preserve for Monday? I don't think either side has enough fit players to preserve anyone, unless you start throwing shirts onto the terracing or promoting from the ladies teams....

In a way it's a bit of a shame that we will not see the best cas team against the best Wakefield team, as I think fully fit both could challenge for honours...

That being said, both sides say that they have strength in depth so injuries aren't really an excuse for whoever loses.

In a strange way you'll probably learn a lot more about both sides tonight, with regard to their squad depth, resilience and adaptability in diversity.... All we can hope is that both sides can put some structures together and make a good game of it (obviously with a cas win ) for me personally a win in a disjointed error strewn affair would be a worrying indication of our ACTUAL squad depth... That being said, I'd take any two points really - to hell with diplomacy lol

We should just save ourselves the trouble (and humiliation) and just forfeit matches against Cas.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
