Also a big mention for King who came on and added some steel.

I think the OP is being a bit hard on Crowther, as has already been pointed out. It can take years for pack men to blossom. Look at Nathan Massey; the lad has been at Cas since he was about 15 & this is the first contract extension that any of us at Cas have been happy with! (He’ll be 30 in a couple of months)!
Sometimes a players worth goes unnoticed by fans if they’re not busting tackles & generally playing like it’s a highlight reel, but Crowther clearly has heart & I’m yet to see a player who gets better when you continually knock them down or abuse them.

not be long before the idiot fans ruin this team moral, players can have periods of average games and brain farts at any time, we have here a team that wants to work together and have fun doing so from the look of it which takes some building
the team in general didn't turn up until the second half and could of turned the game on its head bar for a rush of blood.

while I wasn't happy with the result it didn't stop me from enjoying the come back, that's 3 games we could of maybe should of won no different to last year

slowly slowly we are catching the monkey

Noticed yesterday, and not for the first time, that our two natural battering rams, Fifita and Pauli all too many times took the ball whilst standing still. Why oh why don't we see them running onto the ball at speed? the extra metres would be invaluable.

As for JC, I thought he had a pretty sound game last night and did a good job.

I think that was probably down to the short time our half’s had to prepare for the game, as they play more game time together I’m sure they will bring the forwards in sooner.

Agreed, we Can’t expect things to be as smooth with a new halfback pairing, although to be fair I thought Reynolds slotted in pretty well and looked like he had played all season down that left hand side, I was really impressed with his involvement last night.

Also on the topic of the post, get a grip and stop scape goating individuals to suit your blinkered view of the game. IMO Crowther will never be a world beater or catch the eye with flamboyant attacking play and that is meant with no disrespect, he is still very young for a forward and more than holds his own in the collision and seems to keep up well with the physicality of the game. Jesus, I hope to god our young or for that matter any of our players don’t come on here and read posts like this. From time to time I will have a dig at a player if he isn’t pulling his weight or isn’t up to scratch but for me this is just pathetic.

Still waiting for him to step up to the plate been a youngster for 8 years he's ok when everyone else looks good but he's no Bach and no Chris annakin give me those 2 anyday feel like we are flogging a dead horse. He's a ok tackler but that's about it.

You need to step up to the plate as a fan, typical of you to single one young player out of what was a poor first half from a team of 13 players our team doesn't need people like you watching them you fall well below what the players expect from supporters you know nothing about the game other than individual criticism. You need to get from behind the keyboard if you are man enought and tell the players exactly how you see it, of course that will not happen from the Keyboard platoon of the chairbourne division!

The players might not but his Dad does and god knows how he feels seeing this. FWIW I thought he held his own and never shied away so he should be pleased with his efforts and his Dad and family should be proud of his achievements to date

If I was his Dad reading this I’d be very proud because other than the thread starter just about every post is a positive one!
