Can't believe I'm saying this but it would be nice to have either Child or Thaler for a change.

I’ve mentioned this before regarding a friend of mine who is a ref and a good one, who I spoke to after the game, apparently all refs are scored and got to achieve at worst a -8 , if I remember correctly, if below then they are demoted, Kendal scored we’ll below in his last game but still gets a SL gig and was as bad again. If your face fits and all that I suppose.

One or two odd decisions but I didn’t think he was that bad tbh but then I can’t rewatch games we lose so I’ll never know.

I’m usually the same Fishermanscap, but I watched it back last night after a couple of gins :) it’s where he got the decisions wrong that I have a problem, as tries were scored after, the penalty against Lynne was a classic amongst all classics regarding blunders.

I thought last Friday was bad enough - but after watching that back it was even worse. I can accept some 50-50 calls, but some of those were dire. The Reece Lyne one was an absolute shocker.
If you're right BLM re assessments, Im sure you are - he shouldn't be reffing in SL for at least an month.
I can only summise that they are given two games over Easter regardless of the first performance.
God help us on Monday.

Watching the Wigan Saints game and Childs let players in the ruck go on at least two occasions and one that was nearly as bad as Reece Lynne's. I don't have a problem with that but when inconsistency leads to tries then I do

Surely the same ref shouldn’t ref the same side two games running. Not the first time this has happened to us either

Don’t recall the ref completing at 61% not sticking in the tackle, or running like wet fish in the first half. I could be wrong mind

I thought he ran like a wet fish for the whole game to be honest....never seen anyone penalised for standing up and playing the ball in my 40+ years of watching the game !!!
