Jowitt

Other than a few mistakes in his first game on the wing, I think he has been class since he's come in. Been patient waiting for game time and has not let anyone down, seems to have found an extra yard of pace from somewhere too. With Caton-Brown signing and Kershaw showing what he can do we've got some serious depth in the backs

Always thought the lad was class to be honest.

He didn't win the rookie of the year for nothing in 2016.

Maybe he lost his way a little when Grix came in, but maybe, some of the qualities Grix had, that maybe Jowitt didnt, is starting to rub off on him.

Some kids dont always mature into good players as quickly as others, and I think with the likes of TJ and Batch, we have been very fortunate.

Yep, it's very rare that a young player doesn't dip after a promising start. I wouldn't include Batchelor tbh because injuries seem to have got in the way for him.

At Wakefield TJ has only been dropped a few times and Ellis was never dropped as far as I know but these players are the exception. Patience is the name of the game so long as the player in question is committed to getting better.

I thought he looked great yesterday - joins the attack really well, and that try took some scoring - he still had to get rid of a defender in full flight and ground the ball.

He was obviously knackered at the end - but I didn't see a player out there who wasn't; I like him a lot - he has class and loads of ability, and if the next evolution of this team when Broughy retires, is Rocky to 7 on a permanent basis, we have a naturally gifted FB in Jowitt ready to take that spot.

A great attacker but as yet to make a one on one tackle he is after all a fullback he's never there when a tackle has to be made he comes in as third man not a criticism but just an observation Craig hall is exactly the same at HKR. They manage to hide it vey well.

If he's having to make a one on one the rest of the team has failed. He makes some, he drops off some, as all fullbacks do. Like a goal keeper in football, he is exposed and his missed tackle often results in a score.

Sorry mate but, you're just wrong.
Get the subscription or find the videos and watch them back, he's made plenty and he's got an excellent all round skill set to go with it.

He looked real quality yesterday and but for the form of Hampshire and the acquisition of Brough, he would have been getting more game time but, Brough coming back meant Hampshire as first choice FB and Jowitt, once again, having to be very patient.
He deserves some praise for dropping into the side and playing so damn well. !

What, So who took Eden out into touch then on thursday against cas and saving a try been scored. I keep on saying it the young lads we have are certainly good enough they just need more game time on a weekly basis. Max especially the lad is class and will continue to get better IF he played at F/B, Same with jordan get's bagged for no reason and Tom as well has come in for for some sh#t too why do we fill the need to keep bagging our own youngsters is beyond me.

He and Chris Annakin are the only players in the team on Monday who doesn't have a missed tackle on the stats.
