Hope so.
A very exciting and improving player with a bit of X factor.

I hope this is true - he's one of the most exciting young players in SL, and has a lovely combination of strength, speed and guile - always feels like something might happen when he's involved in a play.

I can't help wondering what he'd be now if he hadn't had a few years in the wilderness - not a criticism, because who can blame a young player for trying to make the best of himself - but there's a lot to be said for the level headed, patient ambition of players like Tom Johnstone who, let's be fair, is very unlikely to be a one club man, but has chosen to develop himself in an environment that he enjoys, and in which he's able to play a big and important role.

Anyhow, I do hope this gets over the line - Hampshire has become a really special player, and I'd love to see him take over from Broughy next year and kick on even more.

Agreed. Whether TJ is going to be a one club man will depend mainly on how successful the team becomes, if we win stuff he will stay imho. The only thing that might sway him is a pop at the NRL in later years.

Hes been very impressive for you this year. I always did think there was a good player in him. Now hes settled and playing regular hes shining and it probably helps that hes a local lad too. Good to see him going well.

Reminds me a lot of a young Danny Brough, probably even quicker off the mark...
