Find it amazing that some of the greatest footballers inculding messi say its one of the greatest stadiums to play in but some fans on here wont go watch the team they support cos it at Anfield. Bet 90% aint even been there esp in last 3 or 4 years.as for it been a bus ride from city centre well so was manchester. Proper trinity fans will go no matter where they play too

I think to be fair TK, the problem is that when at Newcastle or Millennium stadium a short walk and you were in an eating establishment or a drinking establishment and 10 minutes in a taxi to your digs, which, like myself and many others who have children and grandchildren is a blessing . I’m one of those who will watch Trinity wherever they play but, why they make it hard for families is beyond me. Regarding Anfield, I’ve been a few times and been in the restricted viewing for away fans, not good for an iconic stadium  the surrounding area, well I’ll leave it there. Enjoy the game and the rest of the day hopefully we come back with the 2 points :thumb:

Wakefields roller coaster ride continues.

I'm not going as I understand from others who have been that there isn't much legroom with seating. As a person with a disability this is a no no from me.

Great for Messi there is loads of room on the pitch, I went to the NZ international in the Kop no room whatsoever I am not going there to be cramped up for me its one of the worst stadiums I have visited.

Never been a football fan to me the players are overpaid prima donnas ,But was fortunate enough to go to Anfield a few years ago on a work convention.
Inside the hospitality was second to non and couldn’t have been made more welcome ,the place oozes quality.
Outside the stadium is another matter and I genuinely feared for my safety.
Likes been said Newcastle’s ground is in the city centre and I think a much better option for the family .

We need to speed up the rucks.
We are always bad at teams who can slow the start of the play down and we don't seem to be able to change tactics when they do.

For me we must put the effort in to getting up so that we at least force the penalty.
I actually don't know but I assume it's a big pitch at Anfield an we need to swing the ball.

Rest players and get further way ftom the top 5? good choice.

we are not chance against saints so our only hope for a good season is the top 5

I agree off the back of the last performance ,but I think we have every chance of beating saints if we go with the right mindset ,turn up with the right attitude and we’re in the fight ,if not its a hiding to nowhere as saints will be up for it ,the big question is can Chester get our boys up for it .
Think we will see this weekend if the players can respond .

Rest injured players yes.
But don't save players for a big game. It never works.

Anfield is also home to the most insufferable fans in sport- even more so than Cas fans. Imagine wanting a trophy for finishing second.
