Not sure we are

Just a quick one.
Are Trinity coached or do we rely on individuals to put a performance in. I have seen a couple of threads asking how many performances we have put together this season and would like to ask the question are we the team coached,
It goes without saying that Miller, seems to have a free range while bopper seems to thrive on individual touches of brilliance. D B would in my view take some coaching anyway.
I think its proved that our early season form was out of the top draw but when you start to loose key players through injury our structures not only shot to pieces but the squad looks totally disjointed,
We have what I consider a first rate squad, are they being used correctly in the right positions. I refer to the recent pointless swap deal.

Its not enough to have team spirit and individual flair you need players who buy in to the ( what Trinitys about mind set ) and im not totally convinced we have that.
When any club goes through a loosing streak supporters start asking questions about fitness , ability and flexibility. I thought we had adaptability and flexibility in pots full but it would appear that the coaching staff find it difficult to bring the best out of whats available. Im nor suggesting for one minute that its Chester out and hope the squad can start to put a good end to a disappointing last few weeks.

So true lampyboy someone needs to take charge both on & off the field, Or this season is going to be a damp squid

It's a fair question.
Sometimes you have to let the coaching team develop too.

Basically we’ve been found out in the forwards, we are soft especially when Dave isn’t playing. Only King has any go forward and he’s not a tackle buster though he does drag the game forward.

Arona - great but crocked
England - totally gone
Huby - who knows
PP - I really don’t know what’s gone on here
Hirst - only ever a filler, played more games than he’s up to imho
Kirmond - even more gone than England
Batchelor - has a poor season due mainly to injury
Ashurst - where is he?
Koppy - runs hot and cold
Crowther - dome what’s been asked of him
Anakin - what’s the point, I’m not a huge fan but he has to be a better option than Kirmond!!!!
Tangles - you have to feel sorry for him.

So on currentish form the only two forwards we have up for the fight are King, Fifita and Crowther. Not much to work with for any coach.

Not all Chester choices have been smart imo but you have to feel for the bloke.

Not having a go but when Chester was at H K R when he left they had 9 or 10 first team players out through injury

Ben Jones Bishop, runs out of the defensive line, jumps up in the air for a ball he has no chance of catching (see Salford effort) , leaves his opposite winger unmarked...result try. Or, cuts inside to help his centre who, to be honest, needs no help in many cases (not always granted) . This has been his tactic for a few seasons now, never more evident than in the Salford game. Is this coached ? I hope not.

What's the issue with big Dave, I know he got an injury a few weeks back but past few press conferences Chester's said 'hopefully he'll put his hand up', almost like he thinks he could play if he wanted to but can't be arsed.

Or is the injury worse than first thought? He was rumoured to be back for the Leeds game, but has missed another game since that one.

Yeah and it's not like he's the most reliable guy under the high ball, especially in a crowd. For me his weakest point though is his lack of acceleration from a standing start. A big problem in defence and attack. We've seen him fail to reach the corner a few times with ball in hand and fail to get across and get even a hand on opposition wingers flying by.

Or maybe Big dave is clever enough to let any niggles mend instead of potentially making it/them worse.
