I think the way the season is shaping up, it's a real vindication of having relegation in any sport? Obviously there are those who think it's negative and damaging.....and it probably is for those relegated!! Surely though without it you just lose an edge, that competitive element that all sports thrive on. If this season had been back to licensing, or whatever, would we have seen a game of such high quality, drama and tension like we saw last night? Obviously we have been dragged into it because of our own poor form, but also because those towards the bottom have kept plugging away and are having their 'moments' in the sun. It's the most interesting season for quite some time, and injuries have brought 3 or 4 teams, including us, into the mix. I'm sure there will be plenty more twists and turns before the end, I just hope from somewhere we can dig some 'form' up from somewhere and give us something to cheer about, after the last couple of depressing months......
