Just watched Hulls first try - pass from Kelly to conner, classic centre play, Conner set off 5m in from touch in his own half, runs between catalan centre & winger, when they close the gap, Conner running at speed reverses the pass to his singer who then runs inside to the full back passes to Kelly who scored ! The whole move set up by Conner running straight forward at speed causing the problem, our centres do not do this to create problems for defenders we play side says & at slow speed !
Rugby league is a simple game where you run hard fast & straight, drawing a man & passing to a support player, why the hell don't we do this basic thing ??

Because we can not get away with a forward pass Kellys pass was so far forward it was in ti next week

When we have a full team we have an excellent back line.
I am not jealous of another teams centres in Super League.

It's also worth pointing out how tough Hull were doing it with their injuries. There were no fantastic centres posts about them then
It doesn't just change overnight when you get players back.
They are competing again now and so can we.
There is no reason to sack the coach. Its more about supporting what they are trying to do. Hull are lucky they have a chairman and board that kept faith. I think we have the same.

It’s also worth pointing out that only a few month ago TJ and Tupou put in one of the greatest centre/wing displays seen in SL in years.

When we had our tails up and a reasonably fit team we were hard to stop.

We need to find that agai as you can’t live on memories but the doom merchants are now going OTT. We are a very capable team when firing, we are not at present.

It’s frustrating and I get that but let’s not wallow in it. It’s a free forum I know but how many misery topics do we need, I think most of us have got the message. Thing aren’t great right now but that doesn’t mean they can’t be in the future.

Hold your nerves I say and that includes me.
