this ones going to be a massive task playing in the soaring heat of around 35 to 40 degree temperatures, don't envy them but we if we want to keep up with a chance of top 5 we have to beat them
3 clubs we can't afford to lose to are them Cas and wigan

I'm sure I saw a televised Cataland game a few years back where the temperatures were really high, and coaches and officials agreed certain stoppages where players took on water.

Dependant on who's fit, do we ho for a more mobile pack, or do we stick with same 17

We don’t have a bad record in France, we seem to be one of the few clubs who take it seriously. If we go with that attitude we have a slim chance. I think some teams write that game off which makes Catalan appear better than they are, I think you can catch them by surprise if you turn up to play.

Cas, can’t even think about that one yet.

We've beaten them before in searing heat. As a spectator it was unbearably hot, but watched them win in those conditions.

I think you’re playing down our chances a bit there?

Let’s not forget in their last two home games they’ve suffered a 40 point thrashing by Hull and an 18 point defeat to London, that after a 30 point loss at Warrington....they will be on a short 6 day turnaround against our 8 days...

If they lose at Leeds on Sunday that will be four straight defeats...if we approach the game and play like we did in the 2nd half yesterday I have us down as slight favourites...

Indeed. I don't think we are the only ones who take them seriously. I just think we play the kind of Rugby that works well on hard ground and the style doesn't suit Catalan. Same as Cas and Giants aren't good for us.

Best case for us is Leeds batter them but still lose.
Then we beat them

I completely disagree....surely we want a Leeds win, otherwise we are falling into the trap of looking behind us instead of in front?

If we'd have been beaten last night then I'd have agreed because you'd have to start thinking where our next win was coming from....we showed last night though there's still plenty in the tank and with not far off a fully fit squad we have plenty of wins left in us yet...surely then...we want the teams above us to lose so we can catch them?

It also would put them on a four match losing streak and mount more pressure on them?
