Don't know if it's a good or a bad thing but according to LE Fifita is going to postpone operation and play through the pain barrier for the rest of the season. That's devotion!!!!
The bloke is a legend. You have to give him massive respect for wanting to put his body on the line for Trinity. Obviously, hope he doesn't cause any longer term damage and the question has to be asked, should we be saving him for the 4 pointers. Although any win would be great, beating KR or London would be twice the value of a victory against our other opponents.
The disappointing thing is that he has to do so in the first place. Effectively, him on one leg is still far and away our best forward at present
I echo this and it’s been so for a while, some other players should be ashamed but they probably don’t even know it’s them. I’m actually quite angry about this as it’s unfair on Dave.
I find it quite difficult to celebrate this - brave as it is - because it seems inhumane; imagine knowing that your colleagues are so incapable, that you have to risk your long term wellbeing to carry them?
The forwards should be embarrassed that this is even a consideration.
