All the post's are correct, So, it pains me to say but being a realist, even with new players we are poor, we do not play as we a collective in Defence of attack, we do not have our house in order, HKR, do & have correctly targeted this game, they will win, against a poor side lacking confidence & only fit enough for 50 to 60 minutes, the rest of SL are aware !
Smart alick answers will not change the facts, we will not win the next three games with these players & coach, however, our only slim chance is for London to loose 3 games & all be on the last match !
If London win a match which they can as they have nothing to loose but only gain,
We are in a very bad position, injuries galore again ?
One hell of a big mess, I will still support my club but that won't change the players what they dish-up ??

I don't see the point of your post. You are just saying something WILL happen when you obviously don't know that. If it's so nailed on what's the point?

Personally I have seen improvement especially in defense. We held our line a number of times and 3rd placed Hull only beat us because we threw them two interceptions.
We may not win but the difference between winning and losing is a small margin now. If we can get it right we can win.
So many of the fans who complain about the teams effort are way more defeatest than they are.

Fair point PT, but we've been saying this for the last dozen or so games without success. Our improvement over those games has only been marginal to say the least.
I admire your optimism, but I reckon TrinTrin is a realist and his forecast nearer the final outcome.

John harbin was not a terrible coach he had to deal with all sorts that year, we couldn’t pay the 350000 box money back we couldn’t pay all the players we’d sacked we had a points deduction for breaching salary cap add to this johns health suffered with it all and he didn’t want to return. I worked under john and he was a very knowledgable bloke who did not suffer fools. At Salford when we survived and I think I’m right in saying we still nearly lost and they had two sent off I ran onto the pitch and hugged him and the bloke was crying probably from the release of pressure.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one Mopsey, your experience of the bloke is the polar opposite of mine.

Don't see why that made a difference.
Resting players wouldn't have helped us. We need them to play together.

I have no doubt it will be difficult and I am not at all confident of a win but I do see improvement and a lot are not seeing it simply because they are so down on the team for the previous games.

There is nothing wrong with drawing different conclusions to me when you watch the game. What I don't get is people just saying "we'll lose" and "no chance" with no discussion or logic.

If a Cas fan came on saying stuff like that you'd all want them banned

Yes I was at the Salford game and as I remember Shudds were playing London at same time. It was us or shudds for the drop that day.

Used to see Harbin knocking about Wakey long after he left the club , but not seen him for the last few years. If you saw him today and asked about our situation, he would probably say he didn't have a view, but his dad thinks we need a better coach.

I was at this game as well brilliant

London were well up the League and were expected to beat Shudds but London had a "mysterious" off day. Driving home I remember hearing David Hinchliffe on the Radio Leeds after match phone in virtually saying up yours to the "suits" running Super League. All back to the Benidorm Flats where Martin Pearson led the sing along.

"All back to Benidorm" would be a great title for a book on the rise and fall (and rise again) of Wakefield Trinity

I think we'll do okay defending. It's whether we've got the panache in attack. We haven't scored much recently, although I don't think HKR will be as hard to break down as Saints or Hull. The issue is whether Chris Chester tries something different, and which different he tries, or whether he persists in pursuing the formula that clearly doesn't work. He's said some individuals are out of form. Will he play them once again? Will he have no choice but to play them?

I'm not expecting a win and I'm currently focusing more on the London results than our own. Thankfully, points difference will allow us to survive provided we are still two points ahead of London on the last day, but I'm more worried about the effect on Hull KR if they win, because they could go into their London game with nothing to play for.

Although not fully fatal if we lose, I think we'll be okay if we win and London lose in France, particularly as Rovers and London will take points off each other the week before the last game.
