Brown is not the answer. As for Miller and Brough for me Miller will never improve inconsistent an example of the many things that are wrong with SL 23 years on average overseas halfbacks where is the British talent and why have clubs not developed it?
McGuire & Burrow for me were the last of the quality British halfbacks.
I would put Miller on the transfer list and to be honest I would pay Brough up and get rid it was a lousy decision to sign him in the first place.

Having done the "easy" bit (getting rid of Brough and Miller), who would you replace them with and how ?

The trouble is we can't just get rid of them Brough's on a two contract & Miller's on a three year contract we'd have to pay them up & that definitely not going to happen

Even before Millers slump the decision to offer him a 3-year deal looked a poor one, he's never been that good.

Really? He's won us plenty of games on his own.
He isn't Blake Austin but with a good scrum half he's one of the better 6s in the league.

Brown is miles and miles and miles and miles better than Miller and Brough, but not as good as Rocky

I wouldn't disagree, however IMO only truly exceptional players warrant contracts longer than two years and I don't put Miller there. I realise there are probably some very good financial/other reasons for doing so but for me, its risky for all but the superstars of the game and Jacob isn't one of those, TJ and Fifita are.

Your obsession with Rocky seems to have overtaken you Anakin obsession, think you're wrong again though I wish you weren't.

Brown wasn't a patch and Brough in his prime and there is your problem, Brown's prime is as long gone as Brough's, it's just like for like and gets us nowhere.

So by default and despite being some way off the finished article for me, Hampshire is the obvious choice to replace Brough or Miller.

I was against the Brough signing - and had to eat humble pie on here when he came good; but since his injury, he's been awful - and is now, imo, a liability. He still tries to dominate a game as he justifiably did when he was one of the best HB's in SL - but his mind is writing cheques his body can no longer cash.

The answer for now is Hampshire and Miller in a settled partnership - Kevin Brown is not even worth consideration.

I know how he feels - My mind was telling me I was 20 years younger than I am when playing 6-a-side football on Monday. My body is till moaning about it today.
