Worth calling out Escare, Green and Tangata.

Escare key stats
12 runs with 8 tackle busts for an average gain of 15 metres each.
2 clean breaks and 2 offloads though he also made 2 errors.

Green Key Stats
18 tackles only 1 miss. 8 drives with 9 metre average gain which is really big metres. Made 1 clean break. No errors no penalties

Tangata Key stats
A massive 28 tackles with no misses.
6 drives for an even bigger average 11 metre gain.
No errors but gave away 1 penalty.

A pretty good day for them. All bring something big to the team.

All have Slotted into the team well and all buying into the ethos of rolling your sleeves up and putting a shift in.
Escare really is the real deal ,he was bouncing off players like a pin ball at times and always a threat with ball in hand ,although still prone to a schoolboy error Wigan’s loss is our good fortune I’d say.

In car coming over we were saying within our budget the various signings long and short term should strengthen the team and the management team had done a great job.
Would be very happy with tangata and green as permanent signings - Escare was a bit frightening under the high ball but is electric ball in hand, tangata always gives 100 percent and really got stuck in, was amazed that green wasn’t offered a contract by hull.

Having said that there were some stand out performances from virtually the whole team, Danny kirmond played 80 , suddenly Danny and Jacob looked like half backs, Ryan Hampshire’s try at the end pure class, Reece lynne made more breaks than the previous ten games

What a difference a win makes...

Once again

A lot of Wigan fans have been asking what Escare had done to be so out of favour. I hope that he gets a run as he is too good to be sat on his backside.

I take it he won’t be allowed to play against Wigan next match as per loan deal?

Green and tangata I would sign up Tangata coming from the championship looks brilliant. Green had a good debut.
How many times have I said we have never had a class FB. Escare showed what a good FB can do. Needs work under the bomb tho.

I seem to recall that he would be available to play against Wigan, but I may be wrong -I usually am, her indoors tells me so!

Which is a huge part of what makes a good FB; if he had that ability, he'd be starting at Wigan. I like his running style and attacking threat - but you can't have your regular FB spilling his lollies on even a semi-regular basis.

Escare was decent, a real live wire but I don't think he offers much more than Rocky in all honesty. Both have the ability to create something from nothing, the only difference Sunday was that we didn't keep trying the same old full back round the back play which hasn't been working. I think Rocky would have scored the second break that escare made when Hall somehow caught him, maybe it was a confidence/lack of game time thing but think he could have stepped/gone for the corner and he seemed to do neither.

Quote from YEP:

Escare will be available to play for Wakefield in the home match against Wigan on September 1.
Warriors coach Adrian Lam admitted Escare needs more game time. He said: “The club have found Morgan an opportunity that we believe suits all parties.

According to this, he will be available against his parent club.
