Thoughts on Escare now he's played a few games for you? Rumours over this end that a permanent move is on the cards.

Couldn't make it to the KC tonight so watched your game.

Can't understand how it came to this. Ex-FC boys Brough and Miller controlled the game and your defence was excellent.

It’s quite simple really...for too long a periods over the season we’ve missed too much quality through injuries and it’s hurt is badly...we were in a real slump and I’d say only the late additions of Escare, Green and Tangata gave the squad the shot in the arm it needed...otherwise we may well have been the ones going down tonight!

I thought we were excellent value for the win tonight...started with real intent defensively...countless times getting 3 or 4 men in the tackle and driving London back...on the whole we completed sets really well, made few errors and gave few penalties away...

All those saying Brough should have been dropped and panicking over Abdul’s bombs....well...if that wasn’t a kicking masterclass from Brough I don’t know what is...a superb performance and just shows when our pack get on top Brough still is capable of quality performances.

Thought Kelepi was outstanding too...what a signing he’s been...just a shame the timing of his arrival saw us depleted and struggling...can’t wait to see him next year in a pack with the likes of Fifita, Ashurst and Arona back in...let’s all pray next season is a bit kinder on the injury front and we can kick on with improving our ground!

The turning point for the season was the signings of Escare, Green and Tanginoa that brought a new dimension to the team.

Completely agree. Brough could easily have had the man of the match but Kelepi played 60 minutes straight with 20 at prop. Really runs with intent.
Be interesting to see where we play him next year as he's on Ashurst's side at the moment.

Ultimately defence won us that game. We really shut them out.

He's one of those players who you hate when he's playing against you, but I imagine he'd be a folklore hero playing for you.

Escare has done really well since joining and has no doubt played his art in helping keep us up.

If the rumours are true that we’re signed Alex Walker I’d be delighted with that and I’d say thanks and let Escare go and keep Hampshire instead for his utility value as I think he adds more overall...

Yep... Danny pulled the stops out tonight, no doubt. Let's be honest...he had not pulled many performances out like that this season and Ive been worried about him. But I had a funny feeling a match winner like him would turn up big time tonight. And class told

Re: Team for London : Sat Sep 14, 2019 8:05 am
:D Excellent performance last night, with Trinity deserved winners but, games like this are always tempered with a thought for the opposition.
London have been great value this season and at the start of the year, some were even predicting that they may not win a game and as Trinity fans, we know that they did rather better than that.
The 400 mile round trip on a Friday evening (well afternoon really) is a great effort from their fans, especially when they were expecting to face the drop and to fail on points difference is mighty unlucky.
Looking forward to next season, it would be great if we could secure Escare, Green and Tangata, who have all made a great impact since coming in and if we can have some better luck with injuries (understatement) hopefully we can be looking up, rather than down next season.

Glad that we've kept our place in the top flight but, equally glad that the season is done. It's been hard going at times this year.

Roll on 2020 and lets hope that Salford spring a surprise in the play offs :D
