Team for London

Thought we played pretty well this evening and with a bit of luck and more composure could have won.

Forwards were excellent, think we actually played with 16 players as gwaze didn’t actually come on the field.

We did however look awful under high ball and could have conceded several tries, brough struggled defensively throughout.

So if Atkins is fit does he play on the wing ? Hampshire to fb or escare to scrum half ?

Hopefully england will be fit to give us a 17 th man that gets on the park

Am away but my ear will be glued to the radio

If everyone is fit who played against Warrington then all I would do is bring England back in at prop on the bench for the pack.
Chester says Atkins will play so its just a question of whether Hampshire or Arundal make way.

Against London, we need all the pace that we can find.
Although they have out enthused us in the firs 2 encounters this season, their main threat has been pace and width, especially with Dixon, who is lightening quick.
If we go with Atkins, who hasn't played for a number of weeks and Arundel on the left side, we are asking for trouble.
We have to do a job on Abdul and Dixon but, London are a very mobile side, who like to shift the ball.

This scares me more than the Cas or Bulls MPG

I think that we will all be praying fo Salford to beat KR and Catalan to actually get off the plane, rather than not turn up again.

I agree about the spped and width of play but the thing that catches us out is their standard diamond play when Abdul runs with an inside and outside man, and a man out the back.

We need to cut that ball off early.

I never understood why we didn't just batter their forwards into submission.
For me, certainly in the first game at their place, we should have just banged the ball straight up the middle all afternoon.
Maybe it was the 2 early scores that made us think that it was going to be a walk in the park but, they absolutely ran us ragged.

I'm not sure that playing Atkins, who will be way short of match fitness, is the right thing to do.

Maybe we should use an old trick from the round ball game and narrow the pitch by a couple of yards on each side, just to compress the play

I’m worried we are going to get out coached.

Ward will be going over every fine detail to assess our (many) weak spots and come up with a game plan to exploit it, which will be well drilled into his team and they’ll play it to the letter.

We will come out and do what we always do, and likely play right into their hands.

Not looking forward to the game at all. If the forwards really fire up then I still think we will win, and hopefully Salford will do us a favour. No point relying on Catalans they are on the beach already.

Chester has already said Atkins will play.
