If we play to our ability we will win. We are a better all round team than London and if all the boys perform we will get the result and i predict that it will be fairly comfortably in the end. We obvioulsy have to watch their key men, Abdulls kicking game, Dixons pace, Battye off-loading but we have more quality on the park if we turn up. But the lads will be up for this and do the job. Trinity 32-12.

I suppose you could say 'No fear, it's only Elliot Kear'.....
lol

Having seen them totally out play us twice think we will have to play out of our skin to beat them - or at the very least play to our strengths - reality is we are on same number of points as the team that has already beaten us twice this season - including one win when we put out a full strength team

Our main advantage should be the fact this is the fact we are at home its very easy to see us as the stronger team but the results say other wise

Really wish i had your confidence on this one. I just cannot get it out of my head that they have beaten us comfortably twice already this season and I don`t think you can just put that down to a pitch, they seem to know how to grind out wins against the poorer teams in the comp this year and have proved it all year long.

We need to stay focused, run hard, grind them down and stick to the game plan something we are not usually good at but was at Hull KR - I am hoping for a similar performance. Also seriously hoping the weather is fair as we seem to have an inability to show up in poor conditions.

I certainly want to highlight the word 'if' in the sentence regarding performance because if we don't hit our straps then we will be hoping other results elsewhere go our way as they'll beat us. But if we do we'll have too much for them. The weather at this point is set fair, although given that London are used to playing on a dry fast artificial pitch that probably favours both sides.

Same number of points yes but generally it's the points difference that doesn't lie and Londons is the worst in the league for a reason. Lets be honest if we wanted an opponent to face in a must win game to stay up then the bottom of the table team at home is near the top of the list. But we have to play well to do it, it will be a damn good fight. It's in our hands and we hold the better cards, if we fail then we will deserve our fate.

The same logic says we have beaten teams they have not been able to beat.
Previous results don't count on Friday for me.

Both teams are desperate. Both are playing better than they have in other patches of the season. It will be a cracker but i have to say, we should be winning this.

No they didn’t roll us down the middle, which I thought was down to good head on collision, Hill was put down with ease in every collision, ok we could have handled the off loads better but 2 tries down the edges that I’m sure they know should have been easily stopped were the difference, regarding taking their foot off the gas is a saying all coaches use to defend their back to the wall performance, that’s why they took the drop goal , Wakefield could and should have come away with something.

I took a neutral who has a fleeting interest in rugby league and he specifically said "warrington players look stronger and like they are winning the collision each tackle". i mean we can get pedantic but for me they rolled us down the middle and i'm sure he saw it the same way. if you think we should have come away with something i've got to disagree. Warrington were playing in third gear second half and swatted us away like a fly every time we got within reach.

Apologies for talking the Warrington game. I'll move on to London. Which can eb neatly summed up as: I'm shitting myself. We are more than capable of winning but I thought London were bigger and stronger us in both our last games which created the platform for Abdul and co in the past. Agree with RealSteel about needing to close down Abdul on the 5th. Teams have done this excellently on Brough all year. It's just important we win the middles battle. We've been improved in that area a bit recently so hopefully all will be well. Interesting re atkins as I thought Joe Arundel was one of our best players last week. Atkins on the wing - when was the last time he played there? A difficult call that.

I have a feeling one of Arundel or Atkins will replace Gwaze on the the bench and interchange the backrow.

This is an absolutely massive game and one which we simply can’t afford to lose. I know other results need to go against us too but going down will be catastrophic. All the hard work from everyone involved to get the best team we’ve had in years will take some coming back from. Not meaning to sound so negative but it’s huge. We owe them big time and I think we have enough to win the game but it won’t be easy by a long stretch. Cmon trin let’s put this to bed and move onto next season with a fully fit squad.
