The strangest season I've watched?

As a 49 years supporter, I'm struggling to think of a stranger season than that. I'm just relieved that the team on and off the pitch have got their just desserts for the efforts they have put in. But to go from outside silverware winners to free fall was extraordinary. The injuries. The confidence issues that followed. The player rumours that have not been part of our unit for quite some time. And a final superb performance to stop the demise. Extraordinary.

Over 50 years and I must agree. The interview at the end sort of brought it home. 21 hospital operations in one season and the disruption to the squad , don't see how you can accommodate and expect a top five finish. Anyway im sure the close season will allow for the expert advice , my advise would be to get Rock on the books .

It was a strange one but it was exciting too at the end. As is always the case jeopardy creates tension, excitement and nerves. Glad it's over, hope it's not the same next year and instead we are excited by play off games.
It's part of history now as are the 17 blokes that saved us. 2020 # BEL73VE

It's certainly been different.
IMO we were always too good to go down and it would have been an injustice if we had BUT we live to fight again.
Maybe some signings announced soon - I sincerely hope Rocky is one of them.

what is it with this rocky love in - granted I have only watched a handful of games this year but is he really that good?? we should not be spending overs on him - he hasn't impressed me at all to be getting this many we must re sign him .

Because he's a local lad, loves the club and is a very good player with utility value.

On a side note, can someone forgive my ignorance but all these Rocky isn't a half back comments. Can someone explain why Rocky isn't but Brough, Miller, Reynolds are?

Apart from the pedantic sin binning on Friday he was one of only three players to play every single minute of this season, CC must see something he likes.

I’m glad it’s over. Wasn’t as grumpy as I thought I might be Friday at full time but walked away relieved.

It’s has to be better next year and we surely have to have better luck with injuries.
