With all the hype surrounding the build up to last nights game, everyone seems to have forgotten that it was likely Kirmo's last match for us ??

If that is the case, then I just want to say...Cheers Danny, you have been an absolute star over the past few years.

The number of times he pulled the shirt on when clearly injured (the CC semi final against Warrington springs to mind) and always gave 110% will always stand out in my memory.....All the best Danny

Literally ruined his body to play for the club. Was a beast 5-6 years ago but the seasons playing injured when others couldn't give a toss have taken their toll.

Him chasing back 60/70 meters to cover a Hull break away at FC Will always stick in my mind.

Is it his last though? I'm not sure he's said that yet?
But either way he is a big part of Wakefield Trinity history. Great player and great man.

Perhaps Danny and the Club can announce his plans when he and they are ready.

I also believe that Danny is too much of a Club man to announce it at such an emotional and critical time for the Club, Danny has always put the Club first.

And, yes, absolute legend

He has being a great servant to the club. He stayed when he could have no doubt moved to a bigger club and won the honours his career deserved.
In recent years injury took its toll and appearances were restricted Danny for me will go down in history with other underrated players like Nigel Bell Jonny T and Graham Idle who gave great service to Trinity
In some ways the club retained a season too long but his loyalty to Trinity was rightly rewarded with an extension.
