Really? What part of Jordan's game reminds you of Norton? I hope he doesn't drink like him.

I'd say Crowther is more like a Rich Slater or even Belly if he improves his yardage on carries.

Yes 4.6 metres average I think often wondered is that over the gain line or from receipt of the ball ?

He's had a very good season and IMO will continue to get better. His attitude, energy, workrate and defence is first class. He's got good hands and can fill in at hooker and back row. At only 22 there's still lots of development as middles tend to hit peak at 26 onwards.
There's some great players at the club to learn from, Kirmo, Faffita, Kelepi etc and work with the coaching team to continue developing. One area is carries and average gain, although he's not too far off his older GB counterparts and seasoned 13s.

Crowther 5.55
O'loughlin 5.47
Knowles 5.85
Westerman 5.56
Stevie Ward 5.76

One thing about past players Slats, Belly, McGillivray etc is theyre cut from similar cloth to Jordy and they do lots of unseen work to help the team, Line speed, inside pressure, defensive extras, kick pressure, genuine push etc. It would be great for him to be as consistently good as these and only time will tell. Would be great for the club if he was!
Onwards and upwards with one thing for sure, he never leaves anything on that field.

Perhaps the most impressive feature of Jordi's game is that when he makes a tackle, he sticks and is never shaken off. Quite remarkable really. It's also noticeable that he is often first into the tackle and consequently last away so when he clears the ruck the penalty may have been awarded against our defenders but it often looks like Jordi has copped it.

So Crowther is 22, meaning his peak years are another 3-4 years away, so we have little to worry about IMHO.

He was a great player - pity he came to wakefield at the end of his career.
