I remember watching him play 13 in the academy side, and said all along that he would step up to 13 at SL level. Playing him at prop has always been a square peg, round hole solution. He's nowhere near big enough for prop. Heart-wise, yes. Physically, no.

If Dewsbury play him at 13, he'll go really well.

That's where his legend was made, it may sound a bit anti-climactic but it's not, it's way more than any of us have ever managed.

Not to mention his performance in the MPG vs Bradford which was one of his best games in a Trin shirt - right when it mattered the most.

Agree with everything said above. Great strong running forward who gave his all. 100% effort every time and longest serving Trinity player to boot. Good luck at Dewsbury.

Annakin has been a good servant and been involved in some really important games. Committed player with a big heart!
There's no detriment to playing Championship as it can often be quite shrewd financially and for players futures. If you are a good player like Chris is you can get a higher level Champ contract. Add in full time work and it's lucrative. If you can play on for a few years then bingo whilst getting your next career ready for another 30 years.
