Am I missing something here but isn't the Nou Camp in Spain? I get that it's inthe ethnic region of Catalonia but as demonstrated a few years ago that doesn't make it a nation. Wouldn't Toulouse be more sensible as an area to spread the game?

Would be better in Barcelona.
More flights, hotels, stuff to do and the beer is cheaper in Spain :D

on a smaller scale, why don't Wakey play a few league games at Oakwell, y'know....spread a bit of the Wakey wealth to Barnsley, or Whitby..Whitby would appreciate a bit more footfall and paying customers I'm sure

how about we play the games here

and keep the ******* trade and money it generates >here<.......where we need it most

If/when the ground redevelopment gets under way, that would be a great idea (subject to the financial side being ok for both Barnsley and Wakefield.
In our group, there are 2 new S/T holders, plus another 4 lads that have come to games this season for the first time and they are all from Barnsley.
I cant understand a word they say  but, they seem to enjoy the game and bearing in mind that there isn't too much RL south of Wakefield (sorry Sheffield), it's an untapped market.
I don't know the best way for the club to exploit it but, a couple of games down there with free entry to Barnsley FC season ticket holders seems like a good idea, which maybe the favour could be returned for Trinity ST holders watching Barnsley

We could be really naughty and offer Leeds United S/T holders free entry for a couple of games as well

Wish they would keep it in this country .Hot weather ,drinking all day .and night spells trouble . A lot of true surporters can not afford to travel to France with family's .When it's held in this country you can just turn up for your game and then go home much cheaper .

Folklore has it that the one and only time we played at Oakwell we made such a mess of the pitch that we would never ever play there again.
