Sounds like he’ll cut costs and work to a tight budget. You won’t find many Bulls fans complaining about that, as long as he’s honest with the fans.

Understandably it will take us all a while to build some trust given the long line of cheaters, liars and charlatans we’ve seen pass through the gates.

He won’t just cut, he’ll cut you to and into the bone, everyone at the club will feel the pain.

When Brian Smith left Trinity he took a big swipe at the owners for the way they ran the club. I think it was Chris Breretons Dickensian cost cutting that was his main gripe.

And given the way the club used to haemorrhage money, is there anything wrong with cost cutting.

Wonder if the electronic storage heaters still get left on at night, when nobody in the Benidorm flats

Although Bradford need to run a tight ship, their biggest problem will be getting back to playing in Bradford.
At least Trinity were on the doorstep at Dewsbury when playing there looked likely but, Bradford, playing at Dewsbury, doesn't look great.

As for Brereton "Dickensian" cost cutting, it was absolutely necessary at the time and he deserves our gratitude for helping to save Trinity.

I think I’ve described a pretty accurate picture of exactly what will happen.

We were lucky because we survived the first season. This was due to the fact that we were already in Super League and we knew that we could cut the playing and administrative staff and lose every game. All that mattered was the end of season play off when we added players and survived.
I suppose they could use the same strategy, if so I hope they are prepared for a long season.
