It's ok but doesn't exactly inspire the mind and say I can see me in that on a Sunday afternoon - it looks more National League Football- a souless shed. I do hope those designing a Belle Vue fit for Superleague have had a tour of all the other grounds and take the best and create soemthing thats more than functional.
I am aware finance is a big issue but Belle Vue needs to compete with the best for a long term future
I agree to a degree but as I can only guess how we are financing the whole stadium redevelopment then this is my offering as a belt and braces effort. That said it looks pretty decent to me and hardly soulless especially with a bit of colour added, certainly up there with grounds like Widnes and HKR. A lot depends on what the 'community' stand offers if it's all singing and dancing then for me the rest of the ground like this would be fine and a million miles from what we have now.
If the capacity of the stand is 2400, then it would be great for the home fans in the North Stand, especially if there are some facilities underneath (a couple of bars and toilets) Agree with others that it wants to go full width but, compared with what we've had for soooooooooo long, this would be absolute luxury. Seems cheap at £950k

Agree and how about one a bit longer for the west terrace ? I am also surprised that there has been no initiation to start a supporters fund raising effort - perhaps everybody is waiting for someone else to start one?
It looks ok touchline to touchline i would have and more importantly i would have it with seats for the away fans on the south stand, The need to look at grounds all around the country is not needed we just need to combine in our own view grounds like Leigh's/Salford/Doncaster and that would be sufficient for us.
I have been going on about us having some kind of trust fund for a while now for the Fans/Business and whoever to contribute to help pay towards whatever is needed, Can't remember who it was who founded a fans trust to help pay for things for their not so rich club.
Up The Trin
Sounds like a great idea in theory but unfortunately the apathy even within the current support would suggest this will never happen. The Supporters Trust has just been wound up due to a lack of interest/membership. Maybe I'm wrong and this is just the kind of thing that would have got folk interested but I just don't see it sadly.
In terms of the stand, then I think something like that would be more than sufficient provided we can get a decent East Stand with seating and hospitality built in.
Here's a different angle, if you use a bit of imagination I can see it running down the west terrace as well.
Looks very good in my opinion! I also agree that a Blue roof with RW&B seating would liven it up a lot.
Assuming that the East stand has all the bells and whistles required then one of these at either end and another one running the full length of the West Terrace would put us in the same bracket as Leigh and Warrington.
Working on the cost you gave, then those three stands could cost around 3.5 million, while still a huge amount of money its not a lot for the new modern stadium.
A fund raising venture by the fans with the lofty goal of £1 million is a very long shot but nothing ventured nothing gained.

I can understand the apathy Fordy if it was linked to ground development prior to the club buying the ground. I think most of us had lost the will to live, never mind support the effort! Now things are different. If plans are in place and when they are shown to the public, I'm sure it would re-kindle genuine interest and efforts to help.
Could work, but the initial pictures, do look a bit small, but would only do so for north and west stands. I think we need to look at something a little better for east stand, and maybe south, thinking of hospitality.
Regarding fund raising, I know a little late now, but something built into season tickets etc, to raise a little extra, but then have the costs spread. I know they are now, but aren't they just spread over 3 months
It is a decent Stadium for the National South league Standing 3408 and Seating for 792. Belle Vue has amuch bgger footprint that needs using to the maximum, I have no idea on the financial position of the Club but I am sure that the Directors are looking to provide a Stadium to be proud of.
