Not too much to cheer from a Trinity perspective last night.
Huddersfield seemed to treat this as a dry run for round one and Sezer was very good and clear MoM.
Of the two sides, I dont see too many changes for Huddersfields starting 13 for their first game but, there will be 4 or 5 for Trinity.
I'm just hoping that we are "keeping our tinder dry" and not wanting to show how we may attack KR next week as, considering that Hudds were much weakened in the second half and we had plenty of possession in their 20, we looked awful with the ball.
Westerman showed some glimpses and Kirmond was excellent when he came on, Atkins looks quality and just seems to do the little things really well.
The one thing for sure is that expectation is not anywhere near boiling point (understatement) and although you cant read anything into these games, your gut suggests that we will be battling for mid table, rather than genuinely challenging for a play off spot.
Having said that, if we win next week, which is all that matters for now, everything will be hunky dory.
