3 friendlies in and 2 under par performances.

Hopefully we cant read too much into it, and that we are getting these out of our system.

I too didn't see too much from Danny Brough. A little concerned here, as he was supposed to be our organiser, and the missing part of the jigsaw.

Only time will tell

Can’t really read owt into any half back playing behind a beaten pack ,lay the platform up front n give the lad a chance .Im a little concerned about the preseason games just hope this not showing your hand works out for us, as there’s a big difference polishing your moves on the training park as against a full blooded opposition . No doubt we’ll find out next week and hopefully put my reservations to rest

Friendly games are notoriously poor indicators of what is to come, so not reading much into any result so far BUT I am concerned that we don't really seem to have come through any of them unscathed.
Additionally some senior players have yet to make an appearance.

I do get what you're saying Ketty, though Rocky went ok. Its the same for both halves, is it not.

At the end of the day, he's not new to the club, or the position.

For a player who's signing divided fans I think, and for so much was hoped, I think so far, it hasn't worked.

Hopefully I will be proved wrong, and like I say, only time will tell.

It’s not really the brough show that bothers me eastern it’s the not showing your hand in full on games that does .Im sure things will drop into place but we do need to hit the ground running as we’re all aware how precarious our position was last season and get some wins under our belt which I’m sure will settle not only the players but fans alike .

Sezer looks like an excellent signing to me. He took the ball up close to the defensive line before putting players through gaps a number of times.
He could quite easily do for Huddersfield what Hastings did for Salford last year and make an average looking side very competitive.

Not too much to cheer from a Trinity perspective last night.
Huddersfield seemed to treat this as a dry run for round one and Sezer was very good and clear MoM.

Of the two sides, I dont see too many changes for Huddersfields starting 13 for their first game but, there will be 4 or 5 for Trinity.
I'm just hoping that we are "keeping our tinder dry" and not wanting to show how we may attack KR next week as, considering that Hudds were much weakened in the second half and we had plenty of possession in their 20, we looked awful with the ball.
Westerman showed some glimpses and Kirmond was excellent when he came on, Atkins looks quality and just seems to do the little things really well.

The one thing for sure is that expectation is not anywhere near boiling point (understatement) and although you cant read anything into these games, your gut suggests that we will be battling for mid table, rather than genuinely challenging for a play off spot.
Having said that, if we win next week, which is all that matters for now, everything will be hunky dory.

Didnt go last night ai cant comment but her in indoors and the lads did.the missis never seems concerned about wakey in the shocking run last season she always more than confident that we would be ok and never once said we could be in trouble she definitely is a glass half full type of person but she came home last night and said oh dear gonna be a long hard season and she fears for the team.she said it was clear to see how we lack in ideas and looked so unfit we actually gave pens away twice from been too slow on stop clock.

I know it was a friendly and yes we had a lot out injured(again somthing concerning) but hudds also had some quality players missing in cudjie, edwards, gavet and tai uate and roberts.

Anyway off into town to book onto bus for kr game up the trin
