Are you not running it again this year Coco? I understand if not as it's a big ask and you do a great job.

i knew there was something missing... :ASK:
I usually sort it out in that lull between Christmas and New Year, but somehow it never happened this year.

Cheers Wrencat, although I'll have to find another platform because the BT-MyDonate site shut down last year. Wonderful.org is a good one, but it doesn't seem to have many listed charities at the moment and it looks like it's struggling to cope with sudden expansion now that it's sponsored by the Co-op. Other platforms tend to charge a fee or deduct card payments. I'll investigate further.

We'll have to get started first and sort the charity/donations out later.
I'll start another thread with this week's fixtures... :DAISY:

So, I've been looking into it a bit.

The issue with online fundraising platforms is that you need to be donating to a registered charity (especially so the amount can be boosted by gift aid tax relief).

The suggestions so far for Rob Burrow and Mose Masoe each have separate fundraisers already set up.

Rob Burrow's is via VirginMoneyGiving and the Leeds Rugby Foundation charity:

https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charit ... =robburrow

Mose Masoe's is via JustGiving and the RFL Benevolent Fund charity:

https://justgiving.com/fundraising/hull ... vers-trust

The best way would be for people to donate via these 2 separate platforms. However, this would make it difficult to keep track of how much we've raised via the predictions league. Maybe this isn't a problem as we're all upstanding trustworthy members, but it's nice to know what we've achieved.

One suggestion is that when you donate via these platforms you put in your RLFans name and a reference to the prediction comp on the online form. You could also pm me or post that you've donated. Wrencat could let me know who's donated via him.

Any thoughts?

I'm keen to keep track of how much we've raised, but also allow people to do it anonymously.

Wrencat is the henchman, let him choose. Makes life easier for me to donate via the links. I'd do £5 Rob £5 Masoe.
Wrencat could collect anyone uneasy or unable to do the links and transfer all in one go.

Would it be a good idea to invite fans from the Leeds and HKR board to join in?

We know where you live
Last time I came to Horbury and asked for Acko, all the kids were dragged inside, doors and curtains closed and the shops also pulled their shutters down :D

I'll be at BV for the Catalan game, also at KR if anyone is really keen :thumb:
