Well my posts for the last two seasons was that if Child's refs, betting man of not, you can win a fortune on his odds, you can't get a cookie with them sure fit odds, you could win a fortune, he always has it in for us !
However I won't argue that we help him at times but he always delivers the lost result !!

I take back my previous posts claiming that he had mellowed towards us. His hatred of all things WT seems well and truly cast in concrete. Does anyone know the penalty count. Having said that we didn't exactly help ourselves.

He was atrocious for both sides but I've seen the highlights and batch was a bit unlucky with the 10 minutes.

I'm rerunning the full game now. I'll comment later. :)

I wouldn't mind seeing it myself mate. A long way from some of the action at wheldon road end but some of the decisions against both teams would take some explaining. Very loud booing from the cas fans when Childs walked out for the 2nd half.

Chester reckons a some players will suffer his wrath and have a week in the reserves. Tanganoa must be nailed on and possibly Tupou?

A couple of fortunate 50:50s gave Cas an early lead in that 2nd half then the Antichrist ensured we never got back in the game. Some good defence between 60 and 80 minutes though meant Cas actually went for the two with a late penalty even though game was over. Thought Ashurst's missed tackle on Claire was quite costly too.

As a neutral and wanting a good game, I thought that Childs stuck his oar in and changed the game.
As I saw it the Wakey player did not pull the Cas player back, he backed into him.
Was that a professional foul?
It looked clumsy to innocuous to me.
Penalty ...
But because Childs gave a penalty try and was overturned he went for the next best thing, a sin binning, which turned out to be 2 tries instead of 1.
What's the guy supposed to do?
Turn into a cardboard cutout and stand rock still?
No need for that level of sanction in a tight game.

Absolutely no need to bring that in to it.
