Can't be anything but gutted for Arundel - he has terrible luck with injuries. From a team perspective, he's a big loss, as he's probably the best technical centre in the squad.

Rocky just epitomises how tough these lads are - to play half a game with a broken jaw is significantly above and beyond the call of duty; I hope he has a full and speedy recovery.

we will be down to only 20 available players soon

Escare is still languishing in our reserves with little chance of coming back. Would you take him on loan again after his performances for you last season. From what I hear he did quite well.

Some of us was hoping we would keep Escare he was by far better than what we have. When you got players like that in your reserves it shows the difference between the big clubs and us

Judo Leglocks

General Observations

The leglocks serve naturally to extort the opponent’s surrender, for once favourable contact has been acquired, their result is almost immediate.

But it is often quite difficult to obtain this contact. That is why the essential role of the leglocks–as also that of the Dislocation Necklocks–consists above all in determining defensive reactions which can be exploited in order to apply Strangulations and Armlocks.

'The object of the leglocks is to bring about sprain or dislocation of the knee or ankle which compels the opponent to surrender. The Sprain is a rent of the ligaments of the joint; the Dislocation defines a durable displacement of the articular extremities, properly speaking.'

It appears to be the 6th Leg Lock on the below hyper link...

Well I'll go back and take a second look but I thought nothing of it art the time other than bad luck

Behave  He had a couple of good games but a liability in defence and not as good as Rocky or Walker (based on last years form)

So it looks like he did some damage in the first tackle he stayed down from and then finished it off in the later one.
I'm struggling to see anything really obviously dangerous or see a likely cause in either tbh.
The TJ one is plain to see but Joe's didn't look out of place in any game, but I guess when you've got a load of big blokes hanging on you in a tackle while you're trying to make progress it puts an extraordinary pressure on joints.
I don't see any obvious conduct or technique intended to cause injury to Joe's knee.

Sickner for Joe for sure, speedy recovery Joe, not great for the team either but we're in a hellish run of season ending injuries to excellent players, it is what it is.

I agree. I think it's not really right to accuse players of deliberately injuring each other if it's not clear and obvious. I'm as red white and blue as anyone but I wasn't out of my seat at the time ...live in Beverley and couldn't make the match
