Agree there, to a point legend.

I have been watching for 40 years almost, and there are fans out there, who wear the rose tinted ones too often.

Wouldnt necessarily say we were bottom three, but those who think we are top 4/5 need a serious reality check

Give over 40 years, if that's right you never had a morning paper round like the rest of us.

Can assure you it it.

The first season I went, where i started to take it in was the 1980-81 season, I think we finished something like 4th or 5th, played away at Fulham in the Challenge Cup, and only just scraped through.

I did go earlier than that, but didn't really take it in too much.

I had two paper rounds, I did one in the morning, and one in the afternoon.

I too have watched Trinity for over 60 years but that makes me more realistic than having rose tinted glasses. We have only play 3 GAMES, the first Hull KR, yes we would have expected to win but didn’t, Warrington- despite them having marquee players we won perhaps not expected and thirdly Castleford, there won’t be many teams go they and win. We haven’t yet had our first 17 on the field and if we are still near the bottom after 10 games I might then agree we might be in trouble. Forget last season, we are now in a new season but whether you like it or not injuries do have a big impact, unfortunately we have been a bit unlucky with these.

Yep spot on, realistically 2 points is about what Id have expected from the 3 games so far. This is why I cant understand all the chester out nonsense. Lets not forget we deservedly beat Wire a couple of weeks ago. All teams are having odd results, like you say, lets see where we are after we've played everyone once.
