Hahhahaha that's hilarious. People who didn't experience ww2 invoking ww2 to try and themselves make a political point and not recognising the irony. That is also completely hilarious.
I think some people have forgotten what a virus is. Let me point this out to you: it's not the same as a war. The analogy sucks and so does your post. Also find it even funnier coming from the person who started the thread driving their party political agenda in the post regarding the government loan to rugby. I've got to give it to you though it is some feat having such a lack of self-awareness and it has brightened up my day.
Deary, me could you be more self-righteous, your lack of insight and humour is staggering. A stonking achievement even for you. Nobody is comparing the two event's, it's the reactions that differ. Both events are completely different but still require the same response, that roll one's sleeves up and get on with it, accept that mistakes have been made and will continue to be made but that as a whole the vast majority are doing their best. Save the autopsy for later, when it's appropriate and when we have time to think and then act.
The crux to this outbreak is not the mistakes made but how we learn and learn we must because it will return. I've lost two people so far, neither especially close but a shock all the same, but for now I',m not blaming anyone not even the Chinese, I blame only one thing for now and that's the virus.
All you have managed to do with your little outburst is prove the point and leave me feeling vindicated, finger-pointing par excellence, well done and thanks
PS: WW2 killed and affected far more people than Covid has or in its current form ever will, so if there is a conceit its that comparing the two greatly overrates one and hugely underrates the other, work it out.
