If the players are tested and are negative then games behind behind closed doors I don't see as a problem, as has been said, this virus will be around probably years and we have to learn to live with it.
That said, the people who have flouted the rules, on beaches and other beauty spots completely ignoring advice, IMO, are irresponsible idiots and although I empathise with the racism protestors they too are taking risks for themselves and others!

Not sure the game is in a financial position to have a testing programme. I understand the sport would have to pay for tests at not an insignificant cost overall. Coupled with the fact it's up against a 300k (I believe) potential shortfall from Sky related to fulfilling the TV contract. Coupled with the information from RU that if players train in a group as part of their employment then the furlough scheme would not be available according to advice from HMRC it's a complex situation to say the least!

Yes I agree it is complicated and as you point out the cost of testing would no doubt be huge. I'm back on the fence! :D

The messages sent out by the government have been left wide open to interpretation.
The government said recently you could travel thats why thousands turned up on the beaches and beauty spots. Its also interesting that councils opened previously closed car parks.
If ever it was a time to bring back spitting image it must be now . We have 2 complete complete nutters running the show on both sides of the pond.
Sorry bojo only just taken control this week apparently.

It wasn't just that they turned up on beaches and such places but social distancing was non existent in fact the idiots acted as though all was normal - and as for those goons jumping off cliffs.............words fail me.

yes 1315trinity.
Its not too difficult is it? The social distancing thing isn't that much of a tricky thing to comprehend to "normal" people.......
....but then we are then talking about selfish bell ends who have difficulty grasping the necessary simple and laid out requirements.....

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years"

Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015

2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot.

2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance

2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son.

2020 - Keeping the faith.

Regardless of Govt. advice, I'm still using common sense same as my elderly neighbours and relatives. Lets hope any further cases are restricted to these idiot tourists and mass protestors.
