Would be a shame for his top flight career to end like that but would be a huge opportunity for one of the younger lads to nail that 7 shirt for next season in what may yet prove to be a less pressured environment.

Very sad that the best of Danny's career wasn't with Trinity, but when he did play for us, and hit form, he was the ultimate master at his trade.

Totally agree 1315. A real shame. I still think he has been the best all-rounder in Super League history. Fingers crossed we will see him again.

Good luck Danny and thanks for everything he’s got a lad playing in the half’s, good player as well so you never know we might see another Broughy in a Wakey shirt.
