I agreed with you - simply stressed the point that, no matter how much a bit of a refund might be welcomed (by any individual), the value of having the club to enjoy in the years to come, is worth more to me than the cash.

I agree with you dboy, everyone has individual circumstances. I’ve just had another quick look at the voting figures, currently showing 357 for the club to retain money, and 18 for the refund. Therefore near enough 5% of ticket holders would prefer a refund. The club have already said, anyone wanting a refund at the end of season for home games Not open to spectators, can have the refund. I think MC mentioned at the Q&A, we had 2,200. Season ticket holders, 5% = 110 refunds. Not sure what the average cost per ticket, but my guess, total would be between £20,000. & £25,000. Potential repayment by the club. I hope the figure doesn’t rise above 5%.

Edited. Just realised, my initial estimate was underestimated.

Can keep my money and I voted so. Would be happy to contribute to any additional money raising to offset the refunds. Cardboard cut-out at closed doors or voluntary entry fee for any future open home games.

I understand that some people may be feeling the pinch at the moment and I feel for them but I hope they see the long term benefits for allowing the club to keep the money, I’m fortunate that nothing has changed in our house hold and we have both been on full pay and the bonus of Jordan staying at his girlfriends over the Lock down so they have had to feed him. I came out of the squad builder for certain reasons but will be rejoining, tough times for everyone and I hope everyone and the club come out the other side.

Did you provide your email address, when you purchased your season tickets? I know of at least four of my friends who buy season tickets, but don’t have email addresses.

He bought all his own snap. He's up at 98KG with all his training now and they couldn't afford all his Turkey! When he leaves for good you'll be able to afford to buy the good lady a new car... Oh wait

I like many other fans have opted to support our club by not seeking a refund. Whilst purchasing my season ticket from the club shop for this season, which cost me £200 a Wakefield fan in front of me paid £1800 for his tickets. I don't know which tickets or how many he was purchasing but I could not imagine him being so generous and who would blame him.

How about a free next season's shirt?

I'm a season ticket holder at Barnsley football club and have bought a season ticket for next season at a reduced rate ( £159 instead of £199), but we don't know as and when we will be allowed to actually attend games. There were only four remaining matches for which I was going to forego the refund, although on hearing that the billionaire owners are not willing to dip into their obscene wealth to save the club I think I'll have it back thanks.
