One observation I did make was that our fitness levels looked good right up to the final minute.

We wern’t sluggish we just weren’t very good on the day.

It just looked like any first game of the season when completion rate was poor. We'll get better.
There were plenty of good things that happened.

We weren't sluggish. We were strong in defence but when we had field position we lacked composure. 5 times we coughed the ball up near their line. Combine that with gigots missed easy kick and the try that wasn't and that's why we lost. You will tire if you cough up possession

Agreed. No way was that a try. Obviously short and should have been overturned. The best view was 99% clear it was short. Awful decision.

If we had just shown composure in possession when we had field position in the first half, we would have won. That said, odd to give gigot kicking responsibility with max on. Bibby decision appalling.
