Having watched HER match we currently cannot match that performance in terms of execution, then I watched the Warrington match, omg, we cannot match that speed for 80 mins,
SO, the question exists, what if we don't win a match in this resumption of the league ?
Is there a re-think required of do we just remain the same next year due to costs, ie, £280 k less funding next season, season ticket
Prices to remain the same MC, says ?
SO, where are we/what are we to be next season, ( the easy beats ). Hate to be pessimistic but you have to deal with what is apparent & factual ! I would love to be in the land of great confidence for next season but at present its very hard ?

Agree I will get season ticket for next year but will not go unless every body in the back room staff goes and we sign some quality at 9 and 7 .My worse fear is that Mr Chester is going to waist the money on championship players again and after next season that's were we will be .As you said we are way behind in everything on the field and it's all been down to this this coaching set up

If we’re not careful we could sleepwalk into a perfect storm!

Results over the last 30 games or so suggest we aren’t good enough to stave off a relegation battle next year
Performances over the same number of games suggest we’d lose that relegation battle as we simply don’t have the character to fight it

Too much loyalty to wield the axe and a high level of naivety to recognise the on field signs of danger exist in the boardroom for them to understand the urgency!

Too much familiarity bred contempt and complacency in the coaching set up, they’re seemingly incapable of breaking up the band. Also it seems the collective coaching regime don’t know how to fix the team and maybe they're no longer capable of doing it anyway

Leigh are building to have another go at Super League
Featherstone are doing the same and looked a decent pre Covid bet
London are expected to have another crack at coming up
That’s ignoring the threat of a resurgent Widnes or the ambitions of Toulouse

It’s certainly not too late and we are in the box seat as an incumbent Super League Club but there are some hard decisions to be made and made soon. There needs to be major reconstructive surgery but I fear we’ll clip our toenails and wear a cheap overcoat to cover our disfigurement.

Don’t get this. We fundamentally have a good team. We have an experienced coach. We have also not been able to put out a settled team in over two seasons. On a limited budget that is a killer.

Where people think we are going to magic the money neede to buy the players never seems to get addressed, I’m really not sure what fantasy world some posters live in,

The simple fact is we are low on numbers and low on confidence. An improvement on the former will lead to the eventual return of the latter.

Again I sometimes wonder what game some people claimed to have watched through the years. I have often seen wholesale changes to a team cause disasters. Likewise I’ve seen form and seasons change dramatically on one result or one often underwhelming signing.

It’s obvious why CC is struggling to me. Injuries and loss of form to key players. If those reasons weren't so blatantly obvious I’d be worried.

As it is I’m no more alarmed than I am every season. I support the most under funded, facility lacking unglamorous team in SL, I accept what comes with that and so should the rest of you. Worrying and moaning solves nothing.

We all agree this is the best squad we have had for several seasons but our performances continue to decline. We sign players like Tanginoa who first few games made him a supporters favourite but now he is just another make shift prop.
We have never been a club rich in financial muscle but we have had a team that compensated for this, unfortunately now we have neither. It is a catch 22 continue to play the way we are, lose supporters revenue drops team quality drops and so on.

No. What we agree on is that the squad is one of the best we've assembled.... But the team able to play on the field is not.

Ability wise, the 2009 team was probably one of the best I've seen, certainly in SL anyway. We all know what happened there, the money ran out.
