How on Earth can a coach publicly say, 'same old rubbish, different week.' and still be the coach?! Clearly all respect and confidence from the players to him and vice versa has just gone completely. He should have been put out of his misery after the Wigan game last season.

As EW put it a couple of weeks back, maybe those at the top lack balls.

Always sad to see coaches and players get the flak, but I guess in the spotlight, you ride the roller coasters, and ultimately the buck stays with the coach

It does but the fault will re-occur again and again unless others are also hung out to dry. Sacking coaches rarely gets results, the irony being that CC is one of the few coaches to replace a sacked coach and actually have a real impact.

Just another Catalans thing while i'm at it.......last season didn't Ryan Hampshire tweet, thanks for all your support, sorry you had to watch that s**t?! or words to that effect, that's for all those on here who think we have become a 'bad team' overnight.........

Smith wasn't sacked, he quit. Stop making up "alternative facts" to suit your argument

Except for when Huddersfield sacked their coach a day or so before playing us and they hammered us and have won every game since...
