I think he’s also given big Dave some much needed competition. Suddenly he’s not the only player out there fuelled by pies. He’s a character is Battye and it shows.

He’s pretty quick so gains ten before contact. Also gives the punch down the middle that puts us in front foot or keeps us there if we get a quick play of the ball
