When I joined there were 3 others. One by one they left because it can be painful dealing with so many personalities and views.

It might be worth looking at the forums of other clubs on this site.
Saints, Cas, Salford have all pretty much "shut down" on here, due to lack of moderation.
Without some decent moderation, this would very likely go the same way.

Maybe you should put yourself forward for a job that pays nowt and all you get is grief for not doing it right and all this over a topic that was non rugby related and full of conspiracy stuff, much of it closed down on other platforms.

The sin bin on here would be a good place for covid chat but, I'm not sure that it ever belonged on here - apart from the effects that covid has on RL but, lets be honest, in the zillion pages, the sport barely got a mention.

Lighten up, I was just pointing out that there was little connection between forum moderation and those who run the club.

I stand by that, you’ve read way more into my post than is actually there.

on the occasions I have met and spoke to you over the years, you come across as a very decent knowledgeable man, then you come on here with all the bravado and of wanting to get one over on someone all the time, which is simply not you when you speak to your face.

Hey! Hold on wren. I'm not knocking PT in this instance at all. He's doing a job that I could never do and does it pretty well. I don't always see eye to eye with his opinions, but as a Mod I think he does a great job. I just wondered if it was the kind of position that should be shared as it was in days gone by.

The thread that was closed had nothing to do with RL and was an outlet for conspiracy theories galore.

I'm surprised that it went as long as it did.

It's ironic that the longest running thread on this forum had nothing to do with Trinity or rugby league,even.
What did it all prove in the end?
