So we done a thread on the squad which many differ on but we all want the same thing a successful side so what about our best /strongest line up if everyone fit .....mine would be
1,hampshire - tough between him and max i just feel rocky as more in attack but be happy if max played 2, tommy- best attacking winger in league for me 3,billy- need him to get back to the form of 2018 4, reece- again needs to get back to his best or be under pressure from arundal and croft 5, senior - still learning but better than kaye and kershaw imho 6,miller- if he doesnt perform i would happily drop him for rocky and have max a FB 7 ,lino- hope he does well and beings us what we lack 8, arona- first player on team sheet for me 9,Crowther- not a hooker but did really well there last season and needs to be in team stiffens midfle up no end with bonus of him been able to be moved to back row 10, kelepi - hate to do this but current needs must 11,Batchelor-this kid can play when he gets a run of games 12, ashurst-mr dependable 13, westerman -(capt) would be my captain proved to be a good signing
Subs Fifita- better coming on for me but needs to show hes fit and committed Green- need another prop on bench Pitts - works hard many would have him before batch K wood - seems better when comes on fresh at tired forwards
Croft, max, arundal and b walker to put pressure pn non performing pplayers too

Only two I'd disagree with. Jowitt over Hampshire all day long, scores more, creates more.
The one that really baffles me is Crowther over Josh Wood, seriously! Even BLM probably raised an eye at that one. Until he got injured Josh was not just our best hooker, certainly better than the ageing Kyle IMO, he was one of our best players, his defensive stints were immense and he did his damndest to get our lethargic pack on the front foot. Crowther does a neat little line as an emergency hooker but he is definitely the third choice, not least because he's wasted there, he's a genuine SL class SR/LF, why would you play him anywhere else unless you had too. So either you forgot about Josh or you are insane (joke).
My Starting line-up based purely on conjecture as obviously none of us know how they will progress through pre-season (with second choices in brackets where I think it is a close decision)
FB - Jowitt W - Johnstone C - Tupou C - Lyne W - Senior (Kay) SO - Miller (Hampshire) SH - Lino P - Arona H - J Wood P - Green SR - Tanginoa (Pitts) SR - Batchelor (Ashurst) LF - Westerman
Sub - Fifita Sub - Tangata Sub - Crowther Sub - B Walker
WAKEFIELDTRINITY - ThePRIDEofSportingWakefield
THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS

Brad Walker is an interesting choice, must say he impressed me, what role are you using him for?
With everyone fit, Hampshire could be unlucky, although, he would be an excellent option on the bench.
That's the nail on the head and what some don't seem to get.
If the team stays fit there will be a lot of talented but disappointed players. Bad for them but great for us. We have the talent and with some healthy competition, we should have the motivation.

True .. providing the coach is strong enough to select on form and not reputation. For example, Jowitt seems to get dropped regularly whereas the untouchable Miller and Lyne can often perform poorly without reproach.

Not sure about Lyne but have to agree regarding Miller, he does seem to have spells of poor form, I see Brad Walker as the competition there, I'd go as far as to say Walker is a better decision-maker from what I've seen so far. Hampshire is the obvious competition for Lino.
I thought CC was very effusive about Jowitt in the last few games, something he's not been before. Clearly thinks he's stepped up a notch so I suspect it's now Jowitts to lose.
