Fans have been very supportive of the management at the club, some over the top in smoke blowing. The club have constantly bleeted the poor tale and the supporters have bought in to it. The coaches positions not under threat while ever he supposedly works within the lowest budget in SL
The inclusion of 2 respected coaches should improve things unless the present squad for what ever reason are incapable of improvement, or their imputs minimal.

Out biffed n out enthused by a youthful Wigan squad but what do we expect,it’s drilled into them exactly what is expected of everyone of them on and off the field ,it’s called professionalism (apart from hardaker). If we want to compete at this level we have to be like them and get that ruthless streak into our game ,or we skirt disaster every season it’s that simple in my eyes. I can take losses if I feel we have give our all ,but those games are too few and far between and have been for far too long .We need to turn a very good 40 into a very good 80 ASAP as losing gets into a habit just as winning does and I know which I prefer .

Last and Poching are championship level coaches who are working under the direction of a head coach who is bereft of ideas and has no clue on how to motivate his players.

I can’t agree we were out enthused or that the attitude of the players is why we lost, given that first 50 minutes performance. Wigan are more ruthless and clinical with the ball and as I said before that Hardsker try and the realisation we were unlikely to be able to claw the game back, especially without our best player, did affect us. But this wasn’t an attitude thing issue for me. Before he went off we hadn’t given Johnstone one attacking pass from memory and not converting possession and territory into points essentially did for us

I believe it was mentioned earlier that 6 games in was a better time to assess where we are, before commenting on bad coaching.
I can go along with that BUT if nothing improves by then, you cannot blame devoted fans of the club calling for a change of coach.
There has to be a line drawn this season before players who are trying become disgruntled.

Why give it 6 games? We've not improved on last year or the year before. We need to stop making excuses for poor management and giving additional time they don't deserve. Every game we remain coached by Chester is a game wasted in getting a new coach in, and a game closer to being relegated.

I say six games because players like Lino won't simply hit the ground running and produce from the outset. He needs a little time to settle.
I am worried though that we still show little game plan in attack, and to concede 28 points in the second half is unacceptable.

Kettykat is spot on with his comments regarding Wigan, it's drilled into the young players what is expected at that club and when they see Farrell performing at the level he does it set's an example for them to follow. Wigan don't know how to lose and we don't know how to win. The only consolation is we don't have to play them every week.

I don't really see why there are comments saying we haven't improved.
We haven't improved enough to beat Wigan away when they have some platers missing but last year we'd have been hammered in that first half.
We defended our line really well for numerous repeat sets.
And we made yardage we struggled to make last week

There were reasons why we couldn't do it in second half.
Wigan were better for one thing.

So we need to improve more but that will come with more game time for Lino and getting Hooker sorted.

They had an international spine
We had second choice FB, a new sh and a lf playing Hooker.

It's not just a case of we lost so we are rubbish.
We weren't good enough but there is something to build on.
